Treatment available for seasonal affective disorder

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a form of depression that causes low energy and fatigue, feelings of worthlessness and helplessness, sleep disturbances and fluctuations in weight not associated with dieting."The severity of symptoms distinguishes SAD from cabin fever' or the winter blues,' says Steve Siegle, psychotherapist, Red Cedar Medical Center (RCMC).
